Parallel to Hell

For her solo show at Co-Prosperity titled Parallel to Hell, Le Hien Minh presents a new body of work comprising two sculptures and a large site-specific text-based work. This body of work examines how American pop culture—shaped by war, Orientalism, Ornamentalism, and media stereotypes—has altered popular perceptions of Vietnamese female identity within the American context.
